Participants will be able to estimate time of impact of a particular weather event.

Participants will be able to use weather data to make intelligent decisions about the event.

Winter Weather Objectives

Participants will be able to synthesize Mesonet temperature data and NIDS reflectivity images to estimate precipitation type.

Participants will know what conditions are responsible for rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet.

Participants will be able to obtain NWS watches, warnings, and statements from the OK- FIRST WWW server.

Participants will be able to recognize sounding patterns appropriate for rain, snow, and ice.
